As a time management speaker, trainer, and productivity expert, one of my New Year resolutions this year is to use a particular device, small improvements in productivity even further in the coming years, as a result of this is very useful.
The tool I'm talking about is about personal portable digital voice recorder, and the tip that I share with you one of those very useful when you travel! Portable voice recorders are a great tool to help betterorganized and less forgetful. They let your valuable ideas and important tasks on capturing Moscow, and serves as a portable, personal "mailbox" messages that you want to leave themselves. They can also help improve your creativity (essential for all aspiring writers or speakers reading this), giving the possibility to exit from any institution full of distraction, or lack of inspiration (more on that later.)
They can of course be used anywhere – I use myespecially by car – but I also find it useful to make about me when I'm away from my home or office and away from my laptop / PDA (yes, from time to time leave the house without my Palm and / or BlackBerry! ) because you know, when inspiration is not to strike. Through a personal voice recorder with me often as I can leave messages and capture the good ideas when it came to hitting me, especially when they are far from a "traditional product" of institutions, such as a workstationhome or office.
I was really pleased to have one in my car – tend to be a little 'easier to use, "that prick even my PDA SmartPhone (this may be a little' less dangerous on the fly" trick to be met by driving in traffic !) The two different models of voice recorders that I have had both a large, easy to find records "right" on the front and in the middle of the device. So when I run, and the idea strikes me, or I think of a mission, I must remember to do when IHome / Office, I only got the recorder, press the button, leave the message / reminder to myself, press the button again (after the shooting to stop) and I have a positive memory that is waiting for me when I'm ready for this . So when I come home or office, I had my dictaphone to play the messages, write on my list of tasks or 'ideas' memo, and I never worry about losing these ideas / order to do it again.
I said I had two writers – let me tell youWhy. First, one of them I bought a couple of years ago – it runs on batteries, stores up to two hours of audio, and it works great. I have this here in my car (and often keep it on my person when I'm out and about), because so many good ideas that emerged from the case. There is a limit to it already – do not synchronize with the computer so I can not download the audio files in my computer.
So, I recently purchased a newer version – turn camera – but with the additionthe ability to automatically synchronize with your computer. Something that I put in that I can download on my computer and automatically converted into a universal format MP3.
Why is it important?
Well, for me, now I'm writing a new book on better strategies for e-mail, and I'll write soon. I can not speak faster than I can write (if you have never seen one of my programs, you will know that they are not!) So I'm in this new digital audio usingrecorder to "record" my first draft of my book, and I am a transcriptionist using the MP3 files generated book for me to write. I'm starting it can take weeks off from writing time.
Also, I am a professional speaker and trainer, and from time to time I have to develop new programs to speak. I use my voice recorder in the past to help me find these new programs "organized". As a matter of fact, since about a year, I was struggling with a good introduction to a new programI have had to evolve. I could simply not the right word is formed for the opening of the meeting in my office at home to do it, so I decided to try something different. I jumped in my car, my voice recorder, had a long walk in the countryside, and was my introduction to the construction of a sound "out" in a moment. (Actually, I drove around and want to integrate one or two sentences at a time, so the recording is stopped, run a little ', to think a little' and then record the next piece of intro.) After about two hours To do this, allI had to do it, you play every time I returned to my office and I saw a good 10 minutes in the intro! I also learned to "write" with my voice on the golf course (still playing alone!) Traveling through the woods, and of course in my car.
My new digital voice works so well, I can even use it for my Teleseminar and webinar sessions, record and perform sounds pretty packed (for more information, visit the http://www.randalldean.com). A finalNote to all you PDA users out there – many PDAs and smartphones have no top on-board voice recorders built PDA Unfortunately currently using an audio recording yet, but I'm sure my next PDA will have one! If you're in the market for a new PDA or Smartphone, I suggest you look for one with a built-in voice recorder – it is always better to have a single source units. And it is a PDA, it can be reasonably sure it will synchronizewith the computer, which lets you "talk-write" your next big opus (not to mention helping to remember where you parked the car in a mall or the airport!) Personal Digital Voice Recorder is a sure thing — Add to your "electronics store" shopping list.
